I'd like to invite Melbourne University Summer School students to submit their films to PLANET01.tv
PLANET01.tv is an exploded group network of filmmakers, animators, video artists, VJ's, and people with something to show you, bringing you their piece of the action from around the world. So far contributions are coming from London, Amsterdam, Prague, Wellington and Sydney, and we're aiming to have video from just about everywhere in the world.
Basically PLANET01 was set up in order to bring people's video and film work to a greater audience than we could access individually. It's been going officially since the 1st of Jan 2006, and already we've had an awesome response, and many UK and European video makers have already jumped on. I am an Aussie living and working in post production in London, and I want to bring the most diverse range of material to PLANET01 subscribers through many different avenues.
Planet01 will not try to own your material, or sell it or anything. The feed is set up as a free service to promote your work to a larger audience, and I'll very happily publish links, pictures and text beside every entry. We have a policy in place whereby if in the future we do start to make any advertising revenue from the feed, each artist will get 60% of their revenue(but this is a little way off yet). You are invited to brand your work as you see fit- PLANET01 is just the push broadcast medium, and all contributors will be identified fully. It's a great way of getting traffic to your website.
Build yourself an international audience, be seen by the planet, and be a part of a network of filmmakers @ www.PLANET01.tv
Coming soon- submissions from Tokyo and South Africa..

My Photo Inventory (www.myphotoinventory.com.au )is offering US$1,500 and global exposure to the makers of the best video clip that shows why people should use My Photo Inventory.
The video clip will receive global exposure on the My Photo Inventory websites as well as be used as part of My Photo Inventory’s worldwide internet, television, radio, newspaper and magazine marketing campaign for the next 12 months.
A second prize of US$500 and a third prize of US$250 will also be offered.
My Photo Inventory is the secure online site to store a description and photo inventory for anything of value. My Photo Inventory provides an easy way to identify your things should you suffer from a misfortune such as fire, flood or theft.
The video clip needs to show the benefit of using My Photo Inventory. The problem most people face is not being able to name everything that was stolen or destroyed, because they didn’t have a record of what they owned. As a result their insurance claim is not for everything that was stolen but rather for the items they can recall they owned, that were stolen.
Insurance issues aside, sharing a home with friends or strangers can mean the DVD’s, CD’s, book collections, kitchen appliances and furniture become ‘house’ possessions. When it’s time to move, an inventory will make the process a lot smoother.
My Photo Inventory is looking for creative videos that are fun and entertaining while at the same time gets the point across that anyone with anything of value should use My Photo Inventory.
The video clip can be as simple as you standing in front of the camera telling your story of why you used My Photo Inventory and how it helped when you were robbed, or if you did not use My Photo Inventory, how hard it was to process your insurance claim when your house burned down as you had no records left of what you owned to give to your insurance company.
Alternatively you could use animation, film it in “Batman style” or even as a Chinese Kung –Fu style video clip. The choices are only limited by your imagination and creativity.
The winning video clip will be one that is entertaining to watch and most importantly gets the message across about the benefits on using My Photo Inventory.
How to enter:

The heading for all video clips are to start with “My Photo Inventory.Com”

Final postings and submissions are due by midnight, Friday October 12th, 2007. Australian Eastern Standard Time
